Huawei P60 Pro is a subtle copy of the iPhone 14 Pro

This morning, Huawei issued an official notice that its spring flagship launch event would take place on March 23 at 14:30. The long-anticipated Huawei P60 series and Mate X3 foldable phone will be official. Among these, it should be noted that the Huawei P60 series has been getting a lot of attention. This is a landmark device, and Huawei’s normal product line iterations have started to resume. Today, a blogger shared a leaked draft sketch of the Huawei P60 Pro series that featured certain designs.

In terms of the overall form, notably the layout of the rear camera region, it is highly credible and very similar to the older renders. But this time, a different angle was made clear. The phone’s top screen appears to include a punch-hole design akin to the iPhone 14 Pro. It’s a little odd that the hole looks so much like the “exclamation mark” that the iPhone 14 Pro uses.

Huawei P60 Pro will use a pill-shape punch hole

The aperture is still a “pill”-shaped strip design. The circle depicts the interior components used for facial recognition and other tasks. Of course, it’s also possible that this portion of the sketch just depicts the layout of internal components.

This is also consistent with how Huawei has previously pitched the Pro version, which will come with ToF and other proactive options for high-security facial recognition, gesture control, etc.

It is also important to note that this display’s middle frame has a straight-edge style. It is similar to the recently announced Honor Magic 5. A straight edge is coupled with a curved screen to balance out the look and feel.

The Huawei P60 Pro’s specs include a 6.6-inch 2K BOE OLED screen, a 2nd Gen. Snapdragon 8 processor (4G), and a memory combination of LPDDR5X+UFS4.0. The IMX888 outsole primary camera features variable aperture, a built-in 500 0mAh battery, and 100W wired + 50W wireless fast charging.
