芯片是核心竞争力，苹果iPhone/iPad/Mac电脑现在都转向自研ARM芯片了，5G基带芯片也在进行中，USBC接口的认证芯片也要自己做，现在又要搞定一款芯片了，那就是驱动IC，给显示器用的。
据供应链消息人士@手机晶片达人的消息称，
苹果自己也开始设计Panel 驱动IC芯片了，首先是OLED driver IC , 2024 年量产。
他表示只要是使用量大的芯片，苹果都打算自己做，不留给别人饭吃。
驱动IC是用于显示设备的重要芯片，可以理解为显示器的主控芯片，集成了电阻、调节器、比较器和功率晶体管等部件，控制着显示面板的发光线性度、功率、电磁兼容等关键因素，从而保证显示画面的均匀性和稳定性。
