近日， 中国联通官方宣布，正式加入CRVIC联盟，计划积极布局RISC-V领域。
CRVIC联盟成立于2018年，得到了上海市经信委、国家集成电路创新中心、上海集成电路行业协会等机构的指导支持，成员包括RISC-V领域的重点企业、高校、研究院所、投资机构、社会组织等。
联盟的目标是加速国内RISC-V产业的发展，建立中国国产自主、可控、安全的RISC-V计算平台，促进形成贯穿IP核、芯片、软件、系统、应用等环节的RISC-V产业生态链。
中国联通表示， RISC-V技术能够与5G技术深度结合，逐步应用于包括RedCap在内的5G IoT产品中，具有广阔的应用前景。 中国联通加入CRVIC联盟并布局RISC-V领域，将有助于其在该领域的研究和应用。
