Just for fun and comparison 🙂
Sony

ah, ok ...so now i can see that the blue patch tinged areas on the wall are indeed there very faintly, the LMC mod once heavily sharpened makes them more pronounced.
The branch photo is really good.
There looks like some improvement with the Nickam8pro 161.

Nikon D7100 vs JavaSabr v42

only resized the nikon to match size, no other changes. The Shots on LMC were mostly taken with HDR++, i don't remember. The shots with the nikon were taken on full auto with the exception of the rock which was taken with a warmer temp.

While I agree with the spirit of the responses above there are at least two things to consider.

The OP specifically mentioned branches against sky and none of the responders tested that.

It's great that we have choices. Some of the responses lately have been on the hostile side. Jaba and Surfeur put in a lot of effort and, like it or not, we need to respect it.

I hope you have not found any of my own responses hostile since you mentioned the above responses without specifying them?
I try to be respectful with giving my opinion and constructive criticism. Any criticism is entirely 'constructive' and not meant to be hostile. If any of my posts appear that way well I apologize if you were referring to me.
As for the branches you mentioned, I did not mention that in my response because the detail in the referred mod looked fine to me, just softer, rather than with sharpening artefacts, so, in my case i did not think there was anything to add.
Again, I appreciate everyones work here.

Whats your opinion about these photos? What is most natural to your eyes? I noticed that colors is little bit different in LMC, wood is darker in stock and AGC.

LMC green glass color is also different.

Samsung best, then LMC, ist a little bit green overall. ACG to dark-blue

LMC is a little bit oversaturated, as Samsung, ACG a little bit too less saturated . 1. AGC 2.Samsung 3. LMC

I'd like to say a special thank you to Java. I don't know if people realize the amount of work he has put in. The device has been out for about 1 months and we're now 42 versions later, with 2 flavors of sharpening for people to choose from, in a super mature gcam config that I can only assume Samsung waited to push their first camera update to steal some of his work 😂😂 I wake up each day in the morning with 100+ messages unread on his Telegram.

All that to say, big shout out to you Java! Thank you so much! 😊👍👍

And a big thanks to JavaSabr for the work he puts into the base S23(+) gcam even when he doesn't have this device! For ultra there are some who are actively working, but the base is not in the focus, so I really appreciate his effort. Thanks!

Regarding the matter of detail vs sharpening, I usually use a good dslr as a reference point.
From my post above here is a crop with the nikon on the left and LMC Java on the right.
The level of detail is and sharpening is about equal on both ...if anything it is a little higher on the LMC.
The fact that they are so similar on a camera with a much smaller sensor and lens in incredible.
I see really no need to carry a dslr in most cases now (except it gives you some extra excercise and looks cool)

That is actually crazy. Of course, perfect conditions are, and quiet static object, but it is just a smartphone. And new sensor, so I think quality in future firmware will improve. What I cannot wait for is to see if/when GCAM will have the possibility to save 50Mpix JPGs/RAWs. That will be mad.
