三星代工的骁龙888、骁龙8 Gen1、骁龙7 Gen1等芯片，似乎都在民间留下了发热、功耗高等“恶评”，从后续台积电制造的骁龙8+、骁龙8 Gen2来看，表现改进不少。
除了下半年的骁龙8 Gen3，预计3月17日发布的新款骁龙7系U（骁龙7+或者骁龙7 Gen2）清一色还是台积电代工。
SamMobile称，三星失去了此次的高通订单。
据悉，骁龙7+ Gen1基于台积电4nm，CPU架构是1个Cortex-X2超大核（2.92GHz）、3个Cortex-A710大核（2.5GHz）和4个Cortex-A510小核（1.8GHz），集成Adreno 725 GPU，频率580MHz。某种角度来看，骁龙7+ Gen1就是降频版的骁龙8+ Gen1。
