Samsung and LG claimed the majority of orders for the OLED panels for the iPhone 15, leaving BOE in a tough spot. However, the company is now looking to make up for it. By focusing on OLED panel production for the iPhone SE 4.

iPhone SE 4 will get an OLED screen from BOE

Interestingly, the iPhone SE 4 will use OLED inventory originally put in place for either the 2021 iPhone 13 or the 2022 iPhone 14. Rather than applying new specifications, it makes sense for Apple to optimize by leveraging component inventory, especially since the iPhone SE 4 is an entry-level product.
