Sengoku: Yōkai

A persistent browser based RPG game

Sengoku: Yōkai is releasing soon (finally after almost 3 years of development) Starting friday Match 3rd, excited to finally announce that the progress of the development on the game is gotten finally to the first version.

It is set in the Sengoku Period but with a twist of Yōkais playing important role in the game. You can imagine yourself as a lone samurai who can make a pacts with different kinds of Yōkais.

It is not an IDLE game. This game rewards active players, because there is no really any content that you can do while afk. It has a real time combat, where you can even party up with you friends and do the dungeons together. No energy, some cooldowns here and there and limits, but besides that, you can enjoy the game all day.

Progression in Sengoku: Yōkai is a bit different than other PBBGs in that it's primarily focused on reincarnations, gearing up and leveling up you skills that you have inherited by making a pack with a Yokai. A LOT of customization.

Fight monsters for their drops. Monsters drops randomized gears and materials.

Craft gear. The way it works here is a bit different. You drop materials from different enemies, and then you need 20 of materials from specific level threshold to craft a randomize type of gear (armor, weapon, etc) or use the same kind of material you craft a specific kind. (There are 4 rarities - Normal, Magic, Rare and Unique)

Refine gear. All gear can be refined. If it is a weapon, you will increase the balance of the weapon (works as a dice in dnd game). If it is an armor or a helmet, you will decrease the level required in order to be able to wear it

Enhance gear. You can enhance gears with other gear (kind of like a feeding an item to item), it will enable you to either upgrade or roll a new randomized stats on your items.

Skill leveling While combat, each usage of a skill enables you to level it up.
