日前，GPU厂商智绘微电子官方宣布， 旗下第二代产品IDM929已经完成设计 ，即将进入流片阶段，预计2023年内推出。
同时，智绘微电子还 攻克了IDM-VPU(视频处理器)的核心技术 ，能够支持H.264、MPEG-2、MPEG-4、VC-1、DivX/VP6等格式视频的硬件解码。
智绘微电子2020年10月发布了第一代桌面级GPU IDM919，CMOS工艺，自研编译器和指令集架构，号称性能达到当时国内领先水平。
第二代IDM929升级为14nm CMOS工艺，完全自研IDMV架构、指令集、编译器，工作频率1.2GHz，对于14nm工艺来说相当不容易。
