Difficulties, obstacles, challenges, or whatever you want to call them, are a part of our fate. There is not a single person who has lived their life without them. From the moment we are born, cries accompany life, and yet nothing has to be scary. As we grow older, we realize that every difficulty can be dealt with. Today we collected five of the most valuable tips to help you overcome difficulties and become wiser about them.

  1. Pain is part of growing
Pain is the first thing we understand as trouble. Pain can be physical or emotional. Regardless of its nature, our body or mind can detect it. Once we detect it, we become alert and want to avoid it. However, it is important to understand that pain is a part of life and growth. It is impossible to reach the upper states of mind without experiencing situations that have something to teach us. The more persistent the pain is, the more it challenges us to put ourselves together and find the power hidden deep down. Consider pain as the volcano that makes land all fertile again, ready to grow trees and offer shadow to people.
  2. Everything is temporary
Whenever you notice something bothers you, all you have to do is focus on thoughts that will comfort your heart and make you feel more peaceful. One of them is to take distance from the situation and see yourself out of the problem, maybe a few seconds or days later when the pain will be relieved. We often say that it is better to feel present and focus on the present, but this does not apply when the present is sad. In these moments, we can take advantage of our linear perception of time and move into the future. No matter how hard things are, they will come to an end eventually and give space to happy events and bright feelings.
  3. Worrying will not change things for the best
We are trained to worry and live in fear. While fear is essential to help us protect ourselves from harmful situations, it is completely useless when there is no threat around us. Worrying can only cause problems and will hardly allow us to find the answers to our questions sooner. At the same time, complaining will also step your way to reaching your goals. The moment we realize that worrying and complaining only wastes valuable time from our personal development and contribution to society, we will be free from the obstacles that keep us behind.
  4. What was meant to be will eventually be
Some things are far beyond us. A whole system that drives society to work as it does, as well as the ground laws that govern the universe, has been here long before we appeared. The sun will continue rising for many more years after our disappearance, and we have nothing to worry about. Some generic truths that are wide open above us, like an umbrella that protects us from the rain, will always be there, and finally, what is meant to be will.
  5. The best thing you can do is keep going
And what is the answer to all of the above? Well, if there is one thing you can do, this is to move forward. If you think about it, you do not have much of choice. You can either sit down and be an observer or play your crucial role in the change of events. This will not happen by believing you are the truth holder but by understanding your contribution’s limits and their significance. Once we realize our power and how far we can go, we stop having great expectations of ourselves and become less stressed. In addition, the fact that we can still offer our piece is motivating. This small contribution is important as long as everyone offers it. It is better to expect small things from many people than great things from a few.
