Support is great. Feedback is even better.

"Thanks for checking out our launch - we'd love to know what you think! Most importantly, what features are missing that would stop you from incorporating this into your daily workflow?"

Hello, Product Hunt community! 🚀

🙃 My name is Bilaal, and I'm thrilled to be introducing you to ReminderCal - an app that displays your Apple Reminders natively in the Apple Calendar app.

💯 I created ReminderCal so that I could keep using the Apple Reminder and Calendar apps that I knew and loved (and which respected my privacy) whilst boosting my productivity and stopping the jealousy I was getting watching my friends using other productivity suites. I'm looking at you Google and Fantastical 👀.

🔄 Stay in full control of when syncing occurs. Manually trigger a sync from inside the app or schedule your own patterns using Siri Shortcut Automations. A great automation that I use is to schedule a sync every time Reminders is closed. It happens so fast that you don't notice and everything feels like magic - even when using the App Switcher!

🪄 A quick pro tip: Add $nocal or $nocalendar to the title or notes of a reminder to prevent it from appearing in Calendar.

🛡️ And most importantly, all syncing is done offline, on your device. No cloud servers are used and no data ever leaves your device, so your privacy is always protected. You can verify for yourself by running the app whilst in Airplane Mode.

📱 Want to take advantage of this app on other devices? If you use an iCloud, calDAV or Exchange calendar, your reminders will already be synced to your calendar on all your other devices. If you prefer to store your calendars locally, this app is available on all your other devices: iPhone, iPad and Apple Silicon Macs.

🤖 I'd love to hear your thoughts on ReminderCal, so please comment below and let us know what you think!

🫶 Thank you for your endless support!

Congratulations on the launch on PH! 🤗 You have done an excellent job! I have one little question. What was the most rewarding part of the process?
@olga_neudakh Thanks so much! I think if you had asked me that question a while ago, I probably would have said finishing building the app. This was an idea that I wanted ti build for myself and was largely born out of a frustration with Apple Calendar. However since then I’ve been on a learning curve publishing and sharing the app. I’ve learnt so many new skills and now being able to see page views and downloads in App Store Connect or upvotes and comments here on PH, it feels amazing being able to see enjoying that hard work. That’s definitely been the most rewarding part of this journey so far.
Hi hunters 👋 Fantastic work on getting your project on Product Hunt! What is your traction?
@dmitry_sytsevich Thanks so much! Things were looking pretty flat (comparatively), but in the past week, things seem to have skyrocketed with 68K impressions and 3K product page views. Downloads aren't quite as high, but still followed the same trend which is very exciting!
Hi founders ! Great job on getting your product on Product Hunt! You have done an outstanding job I'm going to try this product out. How big is your team?
@asaskevich Thanks so much, I hope you find it useful! I'm a completely solo developer working in my spare time whilst studying at university.
