在CPU工艺上，Intel之前提出了一个非常激进的战略，4年内掌握5代CPU工艺的宏大目标，分别是Intel 7、Intel 4、Intel 3、Intel 20A（等效2nm，其中A代表埃米，1nm=10埃米，下同）、18A(等效1.8nm)。
现在Intel 7工艺已经在12代、13代酷睿上量产了，Intel中国研究院院长宋继强在会议上透露了最新工艺进展。
接替Intel 7的Intel 4工艺已经准备就绪，为投产做好了准备，预计2023年下半年在新一代酷睿Meteor Lake上首发，也就是14代酷睿。
Intel 3工艺则是Intel 4的改进版，正在按计划进行。
