Baidu achieved 10% y-o-y net income growth for 2022
Chinese tech giant Baidu released its un-audited financial results for 2022 on Wednesday, showing total revenue of RMB 123.67 billion ($17.93 billion). The company reported non-GAAP net income last year of RMB 20.68 billion ($3 billion), giving it a year-on-year growth rate of 10%. Baidu’s revenue totaled RMB 33.07 billion ($4.8 billion) in the fourth quarter of 2022, while its quarterly non-GAAP net income grew 32% year-on-year to RMB 5.37 billion ($0.73 billion). Co-founder and CEO Robin Li said Baidu, which is set to launch its own ChatGPT-like product in March, would keep investing in AI to embrace opportunities in everything from mobile ecosystems to AI cloud computing, autonomous driving, and smart devices.
