2 月 21 日下午消息，据报道，当地时间周二，微软总裁布拉德·史密斯 (Brad Smith) 将在一个闭门听证会上寻求说服欧盟反垄断监管机构，这家美国软件巨头以 690 亿美元收购《使命召唤》开发商动视暴雪的交易将促进竞争，而不会形成垄断。
微软在去年 1 月宣布了这项收购，以对抗游戏市场领导者腾讯和索尼，但是这笔交易在欧洲、英国和美国遇到了监管方面的阻力。
欧洲游戏开发者联盟（EGDF）也将是听证会的参与者之一，该联盟表示该交易将使微软对苹果、谷歌和腾讯等公司形成挑战。
