We officially launched Spinach.io in August. Our community of users inspired us to build this integration with Jira so that engineers could share which tickets they are actually working on that day and how it's going (without having to go ticket-by-ticket). 1. Most tools that support standup are asynchronous bot tools (ie Geekbot, Dailybot).
Spinach.io is different because it helps your team prepare status updates asynchronously. Then leverages those updates to run a live standup for you, helping you focus on blockers and address issues in real time.
2. Most tools that support standup are status driven and don't help you tackle blockers live
With this Jira integration, Spinach now let's you add tickets to your check-in in a single click and show the status of that ticket with simple colors (red yellow green). This means you don't have to go ticket by ticket asking "how's it going" in standup. Instead you can tackle blockers and connect.
