Firaxis确认回合制策略游戏《文明》将迎来新作，但回合制战棋游戏XCOM及《暗夜之子》设计师Jake Solomon为公司效力21年后告别Firaxis去开拓新的事业。
Firaxis首席运营官Heather Hazen被提拔为工作室新任首脑，他在声明中表示《文明》新作的开发工作尚处于初始阶段，目前无法提供更多细节，但可以确认的是《文明6》设计师Ed Beach担任新作创意总监。
XCOM系列创意总监Jake Solomon在告别感言中表示，XCOM是他成长过程中最喜爱的游戏，他为此立志成为游戏设计师；而漫威漫画为他编织了梦想，漫画角色就像家人般亲切。
Solomon能亲手打造XCOM与《漫威暗夜之子》，等于实现了两个毕生梦想。他要将工作交给更睿智的后继者，自己抽身去追求新的梦想。
