Samsung Galaxy S23+ Drop Test Is A Complete Disappointment

Samsung Galaxy S23

The Samsung Galaxy S23 series is out in the market, and phone reviewers will unleash more great things about these devices. We have heard a lot about these phones, from processors to cameras and other features. Now, it is time to see how hard these phones are. Obviously, you will not do a drop and durability test on your new Samsung Galaxy S23 if you have purchased one of the first units on 17th February, 2023.

Well, there is nothing to worry about; we are here to unearth more about S23 series drop and durability tests. You will be surprised to know that the Samsung’s flagship device may not live up to expectations. The S23 series drop test was less convincing than the Apple flagship devices as the Samsung Galaxy S23 shattered on its first drop.

In short, the curved display is the one to blame for easy shattering. The Galaxy S23 Ultra was rumored to have flat glass display, and that might help it sustain a few drops, but it does not got that way.

Samsung Galaxy S23 Drop Test Is Not Up to Our Expectations…

As mentioned earlier, the phone shattered in its first drop; this is not something we were expecting from a much hyped phone. The fonu Samsung Galaxy S23 comes with Gorilla Glass Victus 2 on its front and rear sides. The story remains the same with such high end gorilla glass on the Galaxy S23+. In all cases possible, the phone met the same fate in its first drop test.

The test clearly shows dents and cracks on the full glass panels. Surprisingly, the curved panel of Galaxy S23 Ultra  performs poorly as compared to that of S23+. However, with all damage, the touch input works well, so this is something we can cheer about. Unlike Galaxy S23, most other smartphones’s display might stop working if they fall from a waist height. Let’s wait for another turn to unleash something new about Samsung Galaxy S23 series.
