去年年末，存储芯片巨头美光宣布，将进行设计10%员工的裁员计划，预计将有4800名员工受此影响。
现在，美光突然宣布，
此次裁员的规模将从10%扩大到15%，波及的员工数也从原本的4800人上涨至7200人。
据美光发言人Erica Rodriguez Pompen的说法，此次裁员是根据市场情况调整计划、项目、时间表和路线图的结果。
同时，该发言人表示， 美光也在削减高管的工资，并在本财政年度结束前不会发放奖金。
