Codeforces does not have not rated mode for participating in contests. If I'm feeling tired, should I participate in real contest, or I need to use an alt account or just participate virtually?

It depends. If you have an important competitive programming contest in your area/country coming that you want to get high place, then you should participate in as much contests as possible to get used to solving problems fast enough. Otherwise you should just virtual participate. Your mental health matters most man.

This AGC I participated when my fingers were freezing off outside, and I had to leave for half an hour to charge the laptop battery. Whoops. I still wanted to try so whatever.

If rating means so much to you, you can try start from the first problem that you usually can’t solve and do it backwards. If you solve it, you get your rating up, if you can’t solve it, at least you won’t commit any submission, so you saved your rating.

I think it is always better to participate, training to compete in bad conditions is also kinda fun

Compete with an alt account. After some time, you may end up having a higher rating in your alt account than in your main account. Then, swap the two accounts.
