Don’t Update to One UI 5.1 Now – Users Are Reporting a Lot of Issues!

Samsung has recently rolled out the One UI 5.1 to a wide range of devices. With the update, more and more Galaxy devices are now getting the features that were only present in the Galaxy S23 series.

However, the rollout is coming with issues. A lot of the users of Galaxy S22, S21, Z Fold 3, and Z Fold 4 are reporting several problems related to the update. Now, this is a major issue for Samsung. Even though it managed to please the old Galaxy users, it is now making them regret the update.

Is One UI 5.1 Really Reliable?

With the new update, Samsung brought a lot of new features, security updates, and many other improvements to the phone. All the new things that One UI 5.1 brings will definitely help to enhance the overall user experience.

However, the old devices appear not to be liking the new update as much as Samsung hoped for. One of the Galaxy S22 users has reported that the user experience degraded significantly after the update. The user notes that the phone is lagging during particular animations.

Alongside that, the One UI 5.1 update is reported to be raising battery-drain issues. But these are not the only problems. Some reports state that the update does not allow them to use certain features. For example, the users report that they can not choose from different color options when setting a new wallpaper.

That problem is making the users do manual work, which decreases the user experience rating. Besides that, many users are facing random bugs with the new update.

Samsung is aware of all these One UI 5.1 issues. And the software team is currently working on a fix to resolve all of them. If you have already upgraded, check for updates regularly on your phone. And if you didn’t, wait a little longer and install an issue-free update when it arrives.
