Recently retired NFL star J.J. Watt joined Yahoo Finance Live to talk about the upcoming Chiefs vs. Eagles Super Bowl, his family, a partnership with Gatorade, and opportunities for his post-playing career.

DAVID BRIGGS: All right, Super Bowl LVII just a couple of days away and featuring two of the most dynamic quarterbacks in the game today, the Eagles' Jalen Hurts and the Chiefs' Patrick Mahomes. Ahead of the big game, though, one of the biggest draws in Arizona where the game will be played is the now retired three-time Defensive Player of the Year, future Hall of Famer JJ Watt in his backyard, where he spent the last two seasons of his storied career. He joins us now.

Always great to see you, JJ. Appreciate you giving us the time. So you faced Jalen Hurts earlier this year. You faced Mahomes a couple of times. What makes these guys so difficult to contain? And who do you think has the personnel to do it?

JJ WATT: I got to be honest with you. I thought I was coming on to talk semiconductors, inflation, and debt ceiling.

DAVID BRIGGS: Please do.

JJ WATT: So this is going to be a tough pivot for me here. But let's see here. It's going to be a great game. It's going to be a hell of a game. You know, I'm a line guy, obviously being a D-lineman, so I'm very, very much looking forward to watching the offensive and defensive lines.

The Eagles' defensive line is one of the best I've ever seen assembled. They got guys like Robert Quinn and Ndamukong Suh coming off the bench. That tells you how good they are. The Chiefs have Chris Jones. They got Frank Clark.

And then that Eagles' offensive line is incredible. So when you got Patrick Mahomes and Jalen Hurts going at it, you don't need to give those guys any more shine. They're unbelievable in their own right. So for a guy like me, I'll be watching the battle in the trenches.

DAVID BRIGGS: You must have an inkling who has the better personnel here. Who has the edge?
