So I have chosen to begin this portion with the following.

First step is to get a stock image file. However I have not been able to make a copy of my stock rom nor the current stock rom on my Phone now which is now on August patch 2022-09-05. I have downloaded several copies but there have been posts saying not to use just any version of stock rom so I'm trying to make sure i'm doing this right.

Before you do that. Pull your own boot.img and your own vbmetas..

I'm on my way home now. I could help when I get home.

But to pull your own boot and vhmeta.

You need to download lineage gsi and dsu loader and run some adb shell commands. Stand by I'ma find the thread about it

So did you guys ever figure this out.. if not I can give you a rundown of how to pull your own stock image and vbmetas all the way thru flashing your boot.img and then flashing the proper partitions there afterwards

Not yet unfortunately. Farthest I got was starting over on this thread and getting stuck in command prompt/adb.

3rd Attempt and my OnePlus Nord N20 5G has updated itself a 2nd time.

Seriously how can I lock this thing down to keep it from sneaking updates? I was on a July Version Day 1. Day 3 it Patched to an August Version. Day 7 it's patched itself to 2022-09-05 Android 11 and I'm considering throwing it back to best buy...

So should I do this right now since I haven't done anything except enabled usb debugging and toggled On the OEM Unlock option? Also how do I the HuskyDG_bootloop saver master?

Wait I do? I don't have the Tmobile or Carrier version. This one is Carrier Unlocked out of the box.

Ah ok that's a huge ++++.

Then you now need to unlock thefastboot flashing unlock bootloader via fastboot. One sec I'll get you the link.

I was busy trying to get V4A to work on my device.

Do this in CMD

reboot bootloader

fastboot devices

fastboot flashing unlock

Look at your phone and follow instruction.

We are set. This is my screenshot path.

Then when that failed realized I needed to get it to reboot into bootloader screen FIRST,
I then
Than once in that screen (see pic below)

I ran fastboot devices which said something like. (waiting on devices) and sort of just hung out there. BUT

I then ran this command fastboot flashing unlock

And then I got this baby.

Then the phone restarted, started doing first time intall in Chinese or Korean or something and then later back to original setup screen.

Now I have DSU installed and have a stock gsi to work with and I'm stuck on this part.

Actually, that finished but i'm stuck here.

Do I run that command from my PC command prompt, do I go into command prompt and also do like adb shell first?

Patience .... Student is not ready to enter command. ......After dsu extracts and coverts the GSi. It will load it into memory. At this stage youll get a progress bar in your notification shade.

Wait till It tells you that it is done
