IT之家 2 月 5 日消息，据彭博社的 Mark Gurman 称，苹果不太可能在短期内推出搭载 M2 Ultra 芯片的 Mac Studio 了。
Gurman在最新一期的“Power On”时事通讯中爆料，由于即将推出搭载 M2 Ultra 芯片的 Mac Pro，该机器的功能配置与 Mac Studio 非常相似，苹果可能会等到 M3 或 M4 系列芯片发布后再推出新款Mac Studio，或者不再更新Mac Studio 产品线。
IT之家了解到，迄今为止，关于下一代 Mac Studio 的传言很少，上个月，还有消息称苹果公司缩减了其首款 Apple Silicon Mac Pro 的计划，取消了“M2 Extreme”芯片版本。新款 Mac Pro 预计将仅提供 M2 Ultra 芯片版本。
M2 Ultra 芯片预计将在 M2 Max 芯片的基础上提升性能，M2 Max 芯片目前仅适用于 14 英寸和 16 英寸 MacBook Pro。由于即将推出的 Mac Pro 模块化程度降低且性能相似，苹果推迟更新 Mac Studio 新品可能确实是更好的选择，直到为其找到新的产品定位。
