OnePlus 11R will have one of the best cameras of its category
The OnePlus 11R will come on February 7 to the Chinese market. The device will be unveiled during the brand’s big event which will also disclose the OnePlus 11 flagship, the OnePlus Keyboard, and OnePlus Pad. The device, as usual, will stand as a cost-effective flagship phone with an appealing price. Usually, these devices focus on performance, and to keep the price appealing, they make some sacrifices in the camera department. However, the OnePlus 11R will bring a decent camera, maybe one of the best among cost-effective flagships.
OnePlus is teasing some of the specs ahead of the launch. For those unaware, the OnePlus 11R will launch as OnePlus Ace 2 in China. Today, they confirmed the camera specs of the Ace 2. Thanks to it, we also get the details for the OnePlus 11R.
OnePlus 11R camera details
As per the brand, the OnePlus 11R (Ace 2) will bring the Sony IMX890 50 MP camera. This is exactly the same camera found in the OnePlus 11 5G. The device will also bring RAW photo shooting to ensure the best quality with maximum details. The notable difference between the two phones is that the OnePlus 11R does not bring Hasselblad’s tuning. We all know that the sensor alone is not what does the magic on smartphones. However, it is still an important detail of the whole. So it’s good to know that the OnePlus 11R will not see a big drop in terms of quality. So, if you get this phone due to its performance x price ratio, it will be good to know its camera won’t be a disappointment. Of course, we don’t expect any kind of advanced zoom. The phone will likely stick with 8 MP ultrawide and 2 MP decorative sensors.
The latest teaser also confirms very thin bezels for the OnePlus 11R. Unlike its premium sibling, the R variant will have a centered punch-hole cutout. The device also has a gorgeous curved design that makes it look premium. The bezels are also very thin. Once again, we can see the alert slider on the right side. It makes a comeback for the series.
Alleged specifications
The OnePlus 11R will bring a 6.74-inch OLED screen with a 120 Hz refresh rate. It will support a dynamic refresh rate, but it’s not something close to LTPO displays. The device will bring a 2,772 x 1,240 pixels resolution, with bears the fancy 1.5K moniker. The screen will also have 1,450 nits of peak brightness and an in-display fingerprint scanner.
Other OnePlus 11R specs include an SD8+ Gen 1 SoC and up to 16 GB of RAM. The device will also bring a 100W fast charging with a 5,000 mAh battery. Other features include a 3D cooling system, Stereo Speakers, Bluetooth 5.3, NFC, and an IR Blaster.
