美、中、韩分列“元宇宙”相关专利申请数量全球前三
据财联社援引韩国《亚洲日报》报道，向韩国、美国、日本、中国、欧盟等知识财产五局（IP5）申请的“元宇宙”相关专利在近 10 年间（2011 年至 2020 年）年均增长 16.1%。过去五年（2016 年至 2020 年）中，上述五国及地区提交的申请数量为 43698 件，较 2011 年至 2015 年的 14983 件增长近三倍。
从申请者的国籍来看，以 2011 年至 2020 年为准，美国最多，为 17293 件（35.9%），其次是中国 14291 件（29.7%）、韩国 7808 件（16.2%）。
