Honor Magic 5

Recently, we have had a lot of news regarding the upcoming phones of Honor. We even got to know about the Lite that will be entering the Magic5 series of Honor. Well, the series is not really that far away. Recent reports suggest that the phones will be officially unveiled at MWC Barcelona.

Now, in case you didn’t know, MWC Barcelona is set for February 27th. And as we are getting closer and closer to the official launch, more and more information is popping out. For example, a freshly leaked certification has just confirmed the charging speed of the Honor Magic5.

Honor Magic5 Will Support 66W Fast Charging

As per the 3C agency of China, the charging speed of the Honor Magic5 will be 66W. And you can enjoy such high-speed charging through the bundled charging brick, which will have an 11V/6A rating.

Now, the charging speed is the same as the predecessor, the Magic4. However, do not expect to see the same charging speed on the top dogs, the Magic5 Pro and Magic5 Ultimate. Those models are tipped to come with at least 100W or higher charging support.

That said, 66W might sound quite low, especially when compared with other Chinese phones. Still, it is good enough to get the device from 0 to 100 in an exceptionally short amount of time.

There is no charging-related information about the Honor Magic5 Lite, however. Till now, we got to know that the Lite model will not feature a flagship SoC. That is, the Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 SoC is reserved for the Magic5, Pro, and Ultimate. And these phones are rumored to come with a quad 50MP camera setup too.

Nevertheless, we expect to get more concrete information about the Honor Magic5 series before the official launch event. So, stay tuned!
