What’s The Move Product Hunt!

My co-founder and I are extremely excited to share what we’ve been building for the past few months.

Before we began our journey, we were confused about why calendars were only used in school or the workplace, even though our entire lives revolve around events. So we started digging and discovered that the majority of people dislike using calendars because they feel intimidating and non-inviting. Despite this, we can all agree that calendars are useful tools that help us manage our time better. Most people would hear about an event from the host and just rely on their memory to show up. This can lead a person to show up late or not even show up at all.

So we noticed a gap in the market that traditional calendars don’t fill, and decided to start building a calendar that everybody can love using. wtMove is the world’s first social calendar where users can create and share events with their friends or anyone for that matter! It doesn’t matter if you have a packed schedule or nothing to do in your free time. You’ll always find the next move by following another user’s public calendar and seeing the events that they’re attending, or by viewing whatever’s blowing up in popularity!

Anybody can create and share events as well! Whether you’re an event manager for a club, the NFL sharing the upcoming season, or just inviting your friends over for a movie night, wtMove will help keep everybody on schedule so no one’s left behind.

We understand that creating a calendar is in no way fun, but rather feels like work. Keeping up with all event details that the host may provide is a hassle when all you want to do is be notified when the event is about to begin. That’s why we have implemented a new way for you to interact with events! With the introduction of the tap-to-add feature along with the in-app calendar, you can now keep track of upcoming and/or past events in a fun and engaging manner!

Adding events on wtMove means you’ll never miss out again, eliminating FOMO because you’re always in the loop! Revolutionizing the way you interact with a calendar. It’s our mission to bring the calendar experience to everybody.

Calendar - View your added moves in the calendar - Follow moves that your friends have made or are attending in their calendar

Notifications - Alerts 30 minutes before a move starts - Alerts at the time a move starts

Profile - Decide between a public or private profile to control who gets to see your moves - View the moves made by an account
