A16芯片遭遇设计缺陷之后，苹果正全力投入研发A17芯片。
据天风国际证券分析师郭明錤最新曝料，处理器升级放缓不利于终端产品（如A16、M2系列芯片）的销售，
为确保全球最先进的3nm处理器能够在2023-2025年顺利进入量产，苹果正将大部分IC设计资源投入到新处理器的研发中。
郭明錤表示，在可以预见的未来， 苹果会将其大部分设计资源用于3nm工艺制造的Apple Silicon芯片，后者将在性能升级和功耗改善方面较前辈有显着提升。
这将是苹果团队接下来的首要任务。由于开发资源不足，苹果甚至已经推迟了自家5G基带以及Wi-Fi芯片的研发和量产。
