I’m Alex, the co-founder at WritingMate.ai. I’m a long-time PH maker with 2 Golden Kitties 🙀🙀 in my drawer (2018 and 2019 — already feels like ages ago).

The story behind WritingMate.ai is one many of you can relate to. We initially built it as a side-project shortly after the ChatGPT was launched, being super inspired but frustrated with its downtime. We wanted to make our alternative more accessible, so we created WritingMate.ai as a Chrome extension.

When we initially released WritingMate to the Chrome Web Store back in December, we couldn't have imagined the organic traction the app would receive:
