Xiaomi 13 Ultra appears in the IMEI database: to launch in April

Chinese brand, Xiaomi, did quite well with the Xiaomi 12S series. Unfortunately, it did not launch this device globally and this got many fans disappointed. The latest Xiaomi 13 series is an upgrade of the Xiaomi 12S series. This time, Lei Jun, Xiaomi’s CEO has since announced that the Xiaomi 13 series will launch globally. This series is already official in China and has been in testing in multiple markets by Xiaomi engineers. The Xiaomi 13 Ultra recently appeared in the IMEI database. There are reports that this device will officially launch in April this year. The model numbers of these devices are

• Chinese model – 2304FPN6DC
• Global model – 2304FPN6DG

xiaomiui reported that the new device will not enter the Indian mobile phone market. At the same time, the first MIUI version of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra (Chinese version) is 22.11.5, and the first MIUI version for the global model is 22.11.28. That is to say, Xiaomi 13 Ultra will come with MIUI 14 on top of Android 13 out of the box. 

Judging from previous revelations, the main highlight of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be the Leica optics. Just like other Xiaomi 13 models, this new device may also use a 1-inch IMX989 outsole sensor, However, it will come with some upgrades relative to the Xiaomi 12S Ultra. At present, other details of this phone are still under wraps. However, we expect this device to use the latest Snapdragon 8 Gen 2 chip as well as a 2K screen.

Xiaomi 13 Ultra video flagship is on the way: code name Ishtar and model number revealed

Xiaomi 12S Ultra flagship mobile phone prides as the first high-end flagship after the deal between Xiaomi and Leica. However, if everything goes according to plan the new generation camera flagship will launch in the first half of this year. There will also be a new Xiaomi Pad at the event. 

According to popular Weibo tech blogger @DCS, Xiaomi’s new video flagship is code-named “Ishtar” and has a registered model number 2304FPN6DC. “Ishtar” is the Babylonian goddess of nature and harvest – Ishtar, also the goddess of love, fertility and war, and sometimes a symbol of Venus. In addition, @DCS also claims that another tablet with the Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chip with codename Liuqin will also arrive. This device should be the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. 

Xiaomi 13 Ultra’s previous report

From previous reports, the major highlight of the Xiaomi 13 Ultra will be the Leica optics. Although it will have some upgrades, there are no information about the possible upgrades. The chip will also be Qualcomm’s latest Snapdragon flagship SoC. There will also be a 2K display will a high refresh rate as well as touch sampling rate. Xiaomi will also use a fast charging tech on this device. 

As for the Xiaomi Pad 6 series, this series will be the successor to the Xiaomi Pad 5 series. It will have two models in the series including the Xiaomi Pad 6 and Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro. The code names of these devices are pipa and liuqin respectively. These tablets will also come with the Qualcomm Snapdragon 870 and Snapdragon 8+ Gen 1 chips respectively. 

The Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro may also be equipped with a 120Hz AMOLED display with a resolution of 1880 × 2880 pixels, and may also be fitted with four speakers and a rear dual-camera layout. However, the Xiaomi Pad 6 Pro with the model number M81 will only be available in China. According to reports, Xiaomi may announce these devices at MWC 2023 next month at but will launch them in April.
