SAP Signavio with partners in the Mid-Market

I am Nicole Jacobs, Senior Partner Business Manager Specialist for SAP Signavio. I passionately support our Partner Ecosystem for SAP Signavio.  My role is to work with mid-market partners who support the Enterprise as well as Mid-Market sales.  The point of this blog is simply how to begin learning and start your journey as a partner with SAP Signavio.

2022 was a year of evangelism, discussions, education, and spreading the capabilities of Signavio. 2023 is about focusing on partners who understand and embrace the need for process standardization and improvement for all of SAP customers.

Whether you are moving to the cloud, migrating to SAP S/4HANA, preparing to augment processes for ML and AI, or just want to understand your supply chain and how to adapt and make changes quickly, SAP Signavio is your gateway to these and a myriad of other possibilities.  SAP Signavio has the flexibility to help manage simple business processes as well as your most complex, mission-critical processes.

The biggest challenge for partners is to understand that SAP Signavio is not a plug and play tool.  It is a suite of products that takes some time to learn and implement.  However, partners need to understand that their investment in Signavio will be much less than the great value Signavio will bring.  I consider SAP Signavio’s flexibility the gift that keeps on giving.  As mentioned in a blog by my colleague, Chet Harter, recently, SAP customers can reduce the risks and costs of ERP deployment by investing in “Phase 0” – activities intended to align the organization to a common set of objectives and reach agreement on what the new system will look and act like.  The activities of “Phase 0” need to happen prior to the actual configuration of the new system; generally a few weeks or months prior to actually touching the software.  And SAP Signavio does JUST that. Please explore his article for tips on how this can be accomplished. S/4HANA Implementation Preparation: Phase 0 with Signavio | SAP Blogs.

I find myself speaking with partners who just are not sure of the number and kind of internal resources to dedicate, the time they have to find in an already, very busy workplace, developing another GTM strategy and ramping up commitment it takes to establish a SAP Signavio practice.  Today, many partners face staffing issues of their own and are at over 90% operating capacity and are strapped to allocate resources appropriately.

So how do you begin?  Most partners start with two technical resources; that’s it. We have partner enablement that can get these consultants up to speed in what I would total about 40 hours worth of learning.  Secondly, a friendly customer from their install base is a wonderful place to walk through a first project with and then like lightening I see partners take off.  Our sales team is excellent at assisting the partner on a first opportunity as well and will not leave you alone in the process.  Additionally, you have myself and our other partner managers to assist along the way.

If you are a SAP partner who sells/services ERP projects, process improvement initiatives, enterprise transformations, then you simply need to contact us so we can speak and guide you through the process.

In closing, if you have met me then you understand I love my job and I insist that my role is to help serve you as much as I help serve SAP.  Working with partners is a bidirectional relationship and it truly is my pleasure to assist you and help watch your business grow.

I promise you great future success with your customers because I believe in what SAP Signavio has to offer and I have never heard or seen of an unhappy customer.  That is proof enough to me!
