Is there a BAPI/FM/Class/anything to create an operation defect related to equipment

I need a way to create an operation defect( as in this screen )related to the equipment. This is the QE17 tcode
I am using QIRF_GET_DEFECT_ITEMS2 but this BAPI doesn't have an equipment field.
