加拿大AI芯片创业公司Tenstorrent日前宣布人事调整，CTO Jim Keller将出任CEO一职。
有趣的是，原CEO Ljubisa Bajic与Keller交换了工作，将担任新的CTO。
Keller在社交平台写道，我和Ljubisa Bajic决定角色互换，继续研发人工智能、CPU产品等，以应对下一代计算挑战。
资料显示，Tenstorrent创立于6年前，Bajic是联合创始人之一。Jim Keller在AMD工作时结识了Bajic，并成为Tenstorrent公司的第一位外部投资人，随后在2021年1月正式加入Tenstorrent担任CTO。
Keller在担任CTO期间，主要有两项工作，一是带来了RISC-V架构，公司团队基于此自研了Ascalon CPU核心。二是引进了David Bennett作为首席客户官，后者是AMD老兵，还曾担任联想日本总裁、NEC个人电脑业务CEO。
不过，Ascalon的商用产品还需要等待一段时间，Tenstorrent的新一代BlackHole AI芯片将基于SiFive的X280 RISC-V核设计开发而来。
Jim Keller履历：
1998年到1999年在AMD操刀了支撑速龙的K7/K8架构，2008年到2012年在苹果牵头研发了A4、A5处理器、2012年到2015年在AMD主持K12 ARM项目、Zen架构项目，2016年到2018年在特斯拉研发FSD自动驾驶芯片，2018到2020年在Intel参与神秘项目。
