As we reach mid-January, the excitement of the new year begins to wane, and this seems to be true of the crypto market as well. Major coins that benefited from the apparent end of the crypto winter are now seeing a significant plateau in sales and revenue.

One that stands out from the crowd and looks to be setting its own pace, however, is Big Eyes Coin (BIG). Whilst the likes of Cosmos (ATOM) and Uniswap (UNI) fall to the wayside, Big Eyes is doing exceptionally well and has raised a whopping $16.2 million and has reached stage nine of presale.

Big Eyes Coin: Bucking the Trend

Big Eyes Coin, one of the more recent tokens on the market, is making a splash on the Ethereum network as the cat-themed project excels during presale. The coin has already raised $16.2 million during presale, making it $2 million closer to its end-of-January launch goal. This a phenomenal effort from the cat community despite the slowing seen in the broader industry.

By introducing money into the ecosystem and improving accessibility, Big Eyes Coin seeks to increase the adoption of DeFi. It will gain from the popularity of meme coins on social media, their marketing supremacy, the advantages of DeFi, and the demand for its Sushi Crew NFTs. As a result, sales and revenue are expected to increase. According to experts, the meme coin is set to continue smashing records during presales and after its launch.

Cosmos and Uniswap Grinding To A Halt?

Cosmos is a proof-of-stake protocol that provides an ecosystem of interconnected blockchains. The coin links decentralised applications and projects as well as using an Interblockchain Communication protocol, enabling users to create open blockchains that are accessible on other networks. These are enticing qualities that drew significant attention to the coin at the start of the year, placing the coin among the top 25 most valuable crypto assets, with a market value of more than $3 billion.

However in recent weeks, and more noticeably the past few days, the coin has seen a plateau in sales with only a 10% increase in the last week compared with 9% the week before. It is now dropping again and at the time of writing, Cosmos has seen a 6% plummet in the past two days alone.

Not alone in this, Cosmos is joined by Uniswap which has dropped 4.4% this week. Uniswap is a well-known decentralised trading system and its tokens can be traded automatically. The project aims to address the market difficulties of liquidity whilst improving efficiency and in 2023 has benefited from the growth and popularity of DeFi.

This rise unfortunately has been short-lived as the Uniswap coin hype appears to be at an end. The price of its coin is now sitting at $6.34, a potential indicator of its stagnation as it struggles to compete with the excitement of new coins like Big Eyes Coin.

Final Thoughts

As we reenter the bull market, potential investors are looking to pick high-flying coins to help make them crypto millionaires. Whilst the previously popular coins like Cosmos and Uniswap seem to be falling behind, the new meme coin Big Eyes Coin is excelling. With offers like LAUNCHBIGEYES200 which gives buyers a huge 200% bonus, it’s sure to continue its journey to success.
