Meta 收购 3D 打印眼镜镜片公司 Luxexcel

据比利时报纸 De Tijd 报道，Meta 已收购比利时 3D 打印眼镜镜片公司 Luxexcel。
Luxexcel 专注于用于复杂眼镜镜片的 3D 打印技术。Meta 日前证实了这一消息，并表示：“我们很高兴 Luxexcel 团队能加入 Meta，这扩大了两家公司之间的合作伙伴关系。”
有传言称，Luxexcel 和 Meta 此前曾合作开发 Meta Project Aria 中使用的专业镜片，该项目旨在制造具有集成 AR 技术的普通眼镜。
根据 De Tijd 的说法，Meta 为收购该公司付出了高昂的代价。但是这对比利时的一些纳税人来说是个好消息，他们通过 Participatiemaatschappij Vlaanderen（PMV）向 Luxexcel 投入了大量资金，PMV 是弗拉芒政府拥有的独立组织，支持弗拉芒语地区的经济投资计划。
