Huge thanks to @tbrianjones for providing his list of free email provider domains (https://gist.github.com/tbrianjones/5992856), this is how it all started.

Thanks for the list @ammarshah. Not sure what the sources are for these, but is presence of google.com expected here?

@ammarshah google.com should be removed from this list. google.com is an internal email for people working at Google and are not given out to someone who "just wants one".

Please add softbank.jp to the email list, as well as i.softbank.jp and my.softbank.jp.

@unpredictable mind clarifying why it looks the exact same as a security feature to prevent people from guessing the email an account recovery password would be/has been sent to? On the other hand, you've given me a great idea for what I could do with a list like this... :).

I have legit Googlers among my customers with google.com email addresses. I second the removal of google.com.

First and foremost, thank you for this! Wondering if spectrum.net should also be on this list. It may replace roadrunner.com

You should add the new hey.com

vk.com should be added too - the social network now allows to create your own mailbox

You may use this list by @drakodev. He has the most updated list and chances are that the one you want to add is already there. If it's not, then you can fork it and add your domain or you can comment there and let him know to add that domain to his list.

There still seems to be confusion about email domains for employees of companies who provide public email services.
google.com (provide gmail.com) and oath.com (provide yahoo.com) are on this list but microsoft.com (provide outlook.com hotmail.com) is not.
I can understand if somebody wants to treat differently employees of major software companies from employees of other companie, but that's a separate list.
So could you remove google.com oath.com and any similar employee domains?
Otherwise excellent.

How comprehensive is this list? Do we have an estimate for how inclusive it is when accounting for foreign countries?

(e.g. Saudi Arabia, China, Japan, etc)

After doing some research, I found a few more email provider domains from China that were missing from this list:

This may be addressed before: I see gmial.com. I do not think it is a valid extension. Please correct me if I am wrong.
