Cannot Reference the same SEN object more than once into Solution Manager's Solution tree

Hi all, On-Premise 2206 customer reports that if they link a Referenced object (like a Simulation) into more than one location in the Solution tree, SolMan is only keeping the last Reference, and is ignoring all the previous References in the Solution tree (the previous link disappears when you add the new link elsewhere in the Solution tree). It's not supposed to work that way, is it?

Hi Bart,

do you have Signavio connected to Solman? Which version of the connector do you have?

Which attributes where on the process level?

I have a SAP internal information, that a new Signavio Connector is anounced in this first 2 quarters.

BR Thomas

Hi Thomas, no, the customer is not using Signavio, just linking SEN Producer to SolMan. They are trying to put a Reference of an SEN Simulation or Book Page on either a SolMan Scenaro or a SolMan Process. They want to link to the same SEN document in multiple places in the SolMan Solution tree. But it only lets them link once to a given SEN document. If you Reference the same SEN document into another part of the SolMan tree, then any previous links to that SEN document that they saved into the SolMan tree disappear. I have not seen this behavior before. Picture below of an example of what they are doing.

Hi Bart,

I've just taken a look at the interface and have been able to get Enable Now to replicate the same content object in two places in the process structure to Sol Man. However, when I try three places, Sol Man only shows 2 of the 3 references. If I then specifically upload the content for the Sol Man object where the content is missing, I can then access it on that object but it removes the content from one of the other objects. So, I can get the same Enable Now content to appear on two objects in the same Sol Man process, but not three. If this is impacting the use of this functionality for this customer, I would raise a ticket.

Thomas is correct, there is a new interface between Enable Now and Signavio, but as you say, the issue is with the interface between Enable Now and Sol Man.

Regards
Shane
