The Vivo X90 series smartphones were first announced back in November 2022. However, the phones were announced for the Chinese market. And there were no confirmations about Global release.

X90 announcement

Well, it seems that the company is planning to make the global debut of the X90 series pretty soon. Vivo Malaysia has just posted its first-even teaser about the devices. And we are expecting to get more info in the upcoming days.

Vivo X90 Pro is Coming!

It goes without saying that the Vivo X90 Pro is going to be the most exciting model in the series. The phone comes with a sharp 6.78-inches QHD AMOLED display. This panel features a 120 Hz refresh rate to offer fast and fluid motion.

Although the Vivo X90 Pro packs a MediaTek Dimensity 8200 chipset, its performance will be on par with some of the current flagships. But the main highlight of the phone is the camera. The back sports a 50.3 MP camera with two secondary sensors. And the front has a 32 MP selfie shooter.

VIVO X90 Pro specs

It will not let you down in terms of battery life. The phone packs a 4870 mAh battery that has the support for 120W fast charging.

Vivo X90

As for the vanilla Vivo X90, it has the same AMOLED panel as the Pro. It even comes with the same chipset and 120 W fast charging support. However, there is no periscope camera on the back. Instead, it utilizes a 12 MP telephoto unit.

Furthermore, the X90 does not get the 50.3 MP camera that X90 Pro boasts all about. Instead of the Sony IMX989 sensor, the vanilla Vivo X90 gets an IMX866 50 MP camera sensor. Although it is an old sensor, it still retains the OIS stabilization and laser autofocus features. So, the picture quality should not be that bad.
