在经过数周关于Xbox开发者直面会（XboxDeveloper_Direct）的传言之后，Windows Central的Jez Corden提供了一些关于发布会日期的“具体信息”。这一被称为Xbox Developer_Direct的发布会，将于太平洋标准时间1月25日12PM直播（北京时间1月26日凌晨4点）。
《红霞岛》、《极限竞速：地平线》新作和《我的世界：传奇》预计将与来自ZeniMaxOnline工作室的新内容一同出现。据透露，该活动还将提供今年主要大作的近距离情报。Developer_Direct可能是微软的一个新举措，可以更频繁地为即将推出的作品提供更新情报。
虽然本次活动的日期可能会改变，但确定举办是板上钉钉的事，传闻《红霞岛》将在5月推出。还有Bethesda的《星空》，最近再次确认将于2023年上半年推出。
