Every book deserves to be heardWhile there's plenty of skepticism and critique of Apple digitally narrating millions of its audiobooks — not only does this direction seem inevitable, but if you set aside the commercial imperatives, you also realize that stories and knowledge can and should be told and shared in any and all applicable mediums, with some mediums offering natural advantages — and others filling in the gap.
For example, I've long enjoyed Amazon's WhisperSync, the ability to read with my eyes and listen with ears any books that's made available for Audible and Kindle. Increasingly, pan-media experiences will be enabled by AI, and taken in the course of history, that's a good thing.
And so is this.
