据《晚点 Auto》披露，小米第一款车为中型溜背式轿车（内部代号 Modena 摩德纳），分为两个版本，价格未定。据了解，目前内部在讨论的方案是：一个版本定位 26 万-30 万元区间，另一个版本在 35 万元以上。
两个版本的小米汽车在三电系统、智能驾驶等方面有所不同。其中一个基于主流的 400V 平台，搭载比亚迪磷酸铁锂电池，智能驾驶方面采用了供应商大陆提供的 5R1V（5 个毫米波雷达、1 个摄像头）多传感器融合方案——与 2021 款理想 ONE 的技术路线一致。价格高的版本基于 800V 高压平台，搭载宁德时代的麒麟电池，预计可实现 15 分钟充电 80%。智能驾驶方面搭载英伟达 Orin X 芯片，配置激光雷达，算法由小米自研。
