I thought I'd check in with the M2 owners that have had the midnight color for some time now.

How is the durability of the laptop from a wear and tear standpoint? I am not so much concerned about the fingerprints but mostly wear around the ports. Has the color worn off in any way?

Thank you.

Had it for 2.5 months and still looks perfect, but I have been careful with the ports.

I have some wear around the most used USB-C port and worse on the front of the keyboard palm-rest where my watch band rubs on the case. It’s not really that bad but definitely noticeable.

I’m not particularly concerned about it. I bought the MacBook to be used. It is a great computer.

I've had it since day of release and no issues with wear and tear.

No wear at all and I plug and unplug both cables on the port multiple times a day. As with most "issues", it's largely nonsense.
