Hi everyone
I try to install Pixel 13 but I have problems
Lenovo P11 plus 616f mediatek not twrp
- system arm 64 ab img xz
- device uses dynamic partitions
I managed to install the rom in DSU and it works
I start with a stock A12 rom and I managed to unlock the bootloader and it's after that it gets stuck.
I tried several tutorials all different.
Some use vbmeta, boot, fastbootd and others not and in the end I find myself in fasboot and I have to use spflashtools
If someone can help me, it would be nice
Thanks

Your phone name?

When they release an update, what is the process for updating?
When they release an update, what is the process for updating?

just flash the img file on system like you did when you installed it. and reboot

Fingerprint isn't shown in settings and on the first time setup it has crashed with error, any solutions? My phone is realme C25S, vendor is from C.13 rom (android 12), my rom is PE-13+ GSI, magisk's version is 25.2

So, maybe it's just me, but I'm having an issue on 2 devices, across multiple GSIs, and across multiple GApps packages. Including the PE+ Android 13 GSI. The issue is, I can't hey Google/ok Google. It just says my language isn't supported, which is US English, the ROM's default. I've never messed with the language settings, since I'm American, and it's the only language I understand. The toggle is just grayed out, I can't enable it.

My steps for PE:
Clean flash GSI from twrp, wiping cache/data
Boot into rom, sign in, update all apps
Complete the setup from the notification icon, reboot
Open Google app, go to assistant settings....."language not supported"

I've double checked the language, it's always US English. I've spent a few hours going through other troubleshooting steps. Same results. Google is enabled as the default assistant too.

I've also tried flashing GApps packages on top of the phh A13 GSI relases, which don't have Google stuff at all. They're just barebones Android. On that rom, I've tried NikGapps, MindTheGapps, and BitGapps. The Google features always work once GApps are flashed, but still the same language not supported.

This is also happening on my 2 primary devices, a Tab S7+ 5g, and a Note 20 Ultra 5g. Before installing an A13 GSI, I first flashed A13 stock firmware on both devices.

Looking for suggestions, this issue is really annoying.

Hello,
I tried many custom firmwares like LINEAGE, AOSP, LOS and I have a problem of the NOTCH that is not placed properly.

I used the PHH settings but still the same problem.
Do you have any solution for that without making an overlay as I am not sure how to make it.

Thank you!
Check Treble menu in settings. There is an option in there to force refresh rate. But first, you must be sure that your device's hardware supports the Hz you want to set, or else it won't work. My Tab supports up to 120Hz. But I think the default Hz of this GSI is 60.

There is another option in Developer settings that you can use to confirm that your Hz change is really working. I forget what it's called, you'll have to check yourself.

How did you install this rom.. kinda new to this and don't want to brick another phone thanks ..

@Jhindy20: I used twrp, and the blockdev/dd commands. It's that simple.

blockdev --setrw /dev/block/dm-0

This command sets the system partition block (located in the super partition) as writeable. Your system partition may be something else besides dm-0.

dd if=/path/to/gsi/img/here of=/dev/block/dm-0 bs=1m

Replace the path to be wherever your gsi img file is located. If is the source, of is the destination. bs means "bullshit"....just kidding, it means block size. You shouldnt worry about this one too much, but it won't hurt to include it.

If your gsi img file is sparse, you can flash with simg2img command. My twrp has it built in, yours may not.
