对于厂商而言，SSD虽然越来越便宜，但是消费端接下来需求会锐减，这到底是什么情况？
TrendForce的报告显示，消费级SSD构成了过去两年NAND闪存市场需求增长的主要驱动力，不过在2023年到2025年这个年增率将保持在30%以下。
目前PC端固态硬盘的平均容量已经超过500GB，512GB固态硬盘的报价也下降明显，约为半年前256GB固态硬盘的价格。
多数厂商认为512GB是一个甜品容量，既能满足大部分用户的需求，对成本也是一个很好的平衡。由于Windows操作系统的授权费用与设备配置呈正相关，如厂商配备更大容量的固态硬盘，不仅在采购硬盘方面要花费更多成本，也要增加系统授权费用的开支。
