PKI Encryption/Decryption logic in PI

33 Views Last edit Dec 22 at 10:33 AM 2 rev

Dear Experts,

We are using PGP encryption logic in our PI system to encrypt the source file. Now the project team was expecting to implement the PKI(Public key infrastructure) encryption instead of PGP encryption.

Please share your inputs/references to develop the PKI encryptions in SAP PI..

Regards,

Nandha

Hi Nandha,

PGP follows PKI itself. Today, organizations rely on PKI to manage security through encryption. Specifically, the most common form of encryption used today involves a public key, which anyone can use to encrypt a message, and a private key (also known as a secret key), which only one person should be able to use to decrypt those messages. These keys can be used by people, devices, and applications. As use of public key and private key is possible while using PGP therefore you do not need a change. Please clarify what extra feature project team wants to implement which is different that existing features. Then we can discuss more on this.

Regards

Anupam
