在欧盟为手机强制采用USB-C接口设定期限（2024年12月28日后）， 印度方面也跟进了，时间略有宽限，即2025年3月之后 。
据了解，2019年，印度超越美国成为全球第二大智能手机市场。不过，该国现在95%的用户来自Android平台，安卓阵营多数手机已经切换到USB-C充电接口。
虽然iPhone在印度非主流，但随着苹果代工厂增加制造份额以及iPhone 14系列在印度极为受欢迎的表现，后续增长潜力巨大。
此前苹果曾公开叫板欧盟强推USB-C的政策，只是后续还是乖乖表态会遵守。
