12月27日，《王者荣耀》宣布，吕布FMVP皮肤将于2023年1月1日登场。
官方文案写道：
我们敬畏大海的力量，但更渴望去征服，去触碰遥远的海平线上的目标。
只要心中坦然，无谓一时沉浮、无惧挣扎磨炼
那么胜是必然，直到行至终点，一锤定音、加冕为王
此前，2021年王者荣耀挑战者杯FMVP选手武汉eStar.坦然，确定将FMVP皮肤给到吕布！
坦然选择将FMVP的皮肤给到吕布也是没有任何争议的，他的吕布在挑战者杯中保持着全胜的战绩，在总决赛的首场比赛中更是打出了均为30%的伤害占比和承伤占比。
