The fastest way to record and share videos at work

Hey there Product Hunt community!

We all have a small list of passwords we want to make sure our loved ones have access to in the event something happens to us. Most folks discover three problems when trying to solve this problem:

1. It's hard to safely share something as sensitive as a password with someone; 2. Often, safe means inaccessible or hard to find for loved ones; 3. We don't necessarily want them to access the passwords right away.

This is what Posterity Passwords is for.

It's a simple way for you to share a small selection of passwords with specific people, and to be certain they won't have access to them unless something happens to you and we can verify your death.

It's end-to-end encrypted, so only you and the recipient can see them.

Check it out, and let us know what you think.

Cheers.

@mohamed_attahri This is such an important solution, especially since it's so easy to use!
@mohamed_attahri Wow, what an innovative way to keep our passwords safe and secure! Definitely worth checking out!

@mohamed_attahri It's such a helpful solution for people who want to make sure their loved ones have access to important passwords in case something happens to them, but also want to keep those passwords private and secure. It's great that you've found a way to address some of the challenges that come with sharing sensitive information, like the need for secure storage and the desire to control access.

I think Posterity Passwords is a really valuable tool, and I appreciate the thought and care that you've put into developing it. Keep up the good work!

This is at the odd crossroads of weird, interesting, yet still extremely useful.

The interesting challenge would be if I sign up today, die after 60 years, and you guys aren’t around anymore to give my password to my loved ones.

This is a significant problem to solve in today's world. How are you ensuring that the loved one gets instant access to it, and faces no issues?
