Have you ever wondered why there are so many apps? Just managing time, tasks, and self-development is a very personal thing. What works for some doesn’t work at all for others.

This month I’ve tried a couple of new apps. I want to share some interesting findings with you.

Clay is your personal CRM

This is the best app for managing personal and business contacts. With Clay, you build a collection of people you meet, communicate with and work with. You connect your email and calendar to social apps like Twitter and LinkedIn. The app will then fill each person’s profile with relevant and helpful information, from their career history to recent tweets, to details about how they met, to when they last met.

You can organise all the people you meet into groups the way you like. During the meeting, you can make notes, adding information about the person, the topic of the conversation, the outcome of the forum and what you want to discuss next time.

If you often attend different conferences and meet many new people, this app will help you remember everyone you’ve talked to and plan to collaborate with. Very handy!

Markie is an excellent guide customers with short videos

Using Markie from @Frenciss_, you can engage customers in a new way with 10–15 second videos (asynchronously and uninterrupted). The app does away with annoying pop-ups. The app is currently in beta testing. Join in and try it out.

Cello is a valuable tool for referral growth

Cello is the easiest way to add a P2P referral program to any SaaS product. The platform is user-centric and helps companies grow and generate revenue through word-of-mouth advertising.

The benefits include a secure enterprise platform that integrates seamlessly with your CRM and RevOps stack. Users get paid quickly and efficiently as there is integration with various payment systems. And you can always measure the ROI of the campaign you’ve launched.

Morgen is one app for your time management

Morgen allows you to merge calendars, schedule appointments and allocate time for productive work.

You’ll appreciate it if you’re using multiple calendars and constantly syncing time between them.

What else does the app do? First, set rules. You can limit the number of meetings and define their duration. Second, integrate video conference accounts. Automate email reminders for call or meeting participants to avoid no-shows. And track the status of your meeting scheduling links.

Tango helps create guides in seconds and saves your time

Tango is a free Chrome extension that helps you work more efficiently, quickly creating step-by-step work documentation in minutes. This app documents all activities and automatically capture workflows as you go.

Using the tool is easy. When you start working on a task, Tango turns each action into a screenshot with a description. When the job is finished, you get a complete step-by-step description. You can then delete all personal information and details irrelevant to the task. The next step is to edit the manual. Once you are happy with the result, you can share the manual with colleagues and new employees.

Polywork is a professional network to discover new collaboration opportunities

If you miss new experiences or collaborations with other professionals, install Polywork. It’s a place where you can discover collaborative opportunities with professionals in different fields. For instance, you can act as a partner in a third-party project, record a podcast with someone or join beta-testing of a new app. This helps you develop new skills, try new things and grow yourself.

Breyta is a powerful CRM for GTM teams

This mobile app allows you to quickly add tasks, organise them into lists and set deadlines. What I like most is the “Plan my Day” feature. It motivates you to plan while you are doing your other tasks. It’s how the app reminds you to make lists.

Any. do also integrates with calendars so you can see meetings and tasks in one place, so you can catch everything important.
