Hello Product Hunters! 👋 I'm super excited to share Boo! Boo’s a minimal, AI-based text editor for copywriting, note-taking, brainstorming, and all-around AI tinkering. It's been a lot of fun to build, and I hope you have fun checking it out.

Boo is: - Fast. It loads quickly, drops you right into the editor, and stays out of your way. Keyboard shortcuts and a rich "cmd + k" menu let you work without ever leaving the keyboard. - Focused. UI fades away while you write, so it's just you and your words (and Boo). - Powerful. Templates generate many types of content based on very little input. Autocomplete is fast, and smart. Kick off an AI prompt anywhere in your writing by typing "/". Press "cmd + return" to have Boo write another paragraph or so.

Most other GPT-3 backed writing apps can feel a bit enterprise-y. Lots of navigation, settings, and forms. They're also getting quite expensive. Think of Boo more like Superhuman for AI. Or Copilot for copywriting.

There are also a few things that aren't quite in yet, but are in development. Block editing (think, "expand/collapse/cleanup/translate/etc") should be ready soon. And it's still early, but I have a good base for user-made templates, which should be a lot of fun.
