近一段时间，微博一直在加大向用户推荐新版微博的力度，前段时间更是直接移除了新版微博中“返回原版微博”的选项，切换新版成了一条单行道。
今天，有大量用户在微博反映，
自己的没有进行任何操作的情况下，突然被切换为了新版微博，而且无法返回老版本。
对于这一情况，不少用户都表示了不理解与不满，但截至目前，微博官方都没有对此做出回应。
与目前微博的UI设计相比， 新版微博的设计更加简洁化，在继承原有卡片化设计的同时，引入了大量扁平化的设计元素，整体观感更为整洁。
